2026 OCAA Curling Championship
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - The top collegiate curlers in the province are set to compete at the 2026 Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Curling Championships.
The four days of competition begin on Wednesday at the Dixie Curling Centre in Mississauga, Ont., and is hosted by Humber Polytechnic.
Six Ontario post-secondary institutions will be represented at the competition, including Confederation College (Thunder Bay), Durham College (Oshawa), host Humber (Etobicoke), Mohawk College (Hamilton), Niagara College (Welland) and Sault College (Sault Ste. Marie).
The championship will feature three competitions: men's team, women's team, and mixed doubles. All six schools will feature rinks for the team competitions, with Niagara submitting a pair of duos in mixed doubles.
The Mohawk Mountaineers have dominated the men's team competition for much of the decade, having won four straight provincial titles and a national championship in 2025. Mohawk, Humber and Sault have finished 1-2-3 in the men's competition each of the last three OCAA championships.
The Humber Hawks have had success in the women's team event, reaching the podium six straight times, including four OCAA titles.
All teams hit the ice at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, beginning three days of single round robin action. The top four teams advance to Saturday's semi-finals, which will determine gold and bronze medal match-ups later that day. Select games will be webcast on OCAA LIVE via YouTube.
The top men's and women's teams move onto the 2026 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association/Curling Canada College Championships in Regina, Sask., later this month.
