Susan Chen named Humber Female Rookie of the Year
ETOBICOKE - Joining the Humber golf team this season, Susan made an immediate impact, finishing second at the OCAA provincial championship in Barrie. All three of her rounds counted towards the team score as the Hawks became the first team to win five consecutive team gold medals. Chen's silver medal finish saw her named the inaugural OCAA Rookie of the Year – an award introduced for the 2024 season.
At nationals, Chen finished in fourth place, helping Humber win the CCAA silver medal while earning CCAA All-Canadian honours.
Chen becomes the fourth women's golfer to earn Humber rookie of the year honours.
