Humber once again leads the province with 93 OCAA All-Academic selections

ETOBICOKE – A total of 93 Humber varsity student-athletes have earned OCAA All-Academic honours in their respective sports, as announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon. As the all-time leader in CCAA and OCAA titles, Humber's lofty goals and unflappable determination that permeate our academic spirit also propel our athletic dominance.

Under the guidance of Varsity Academic Coordinators Mallory Lawton and Aaliyah Davidson, the Hawks continue to thrive in the academic component of undergraduate life while being groomed to succeed in the increasingly competitive academic environment at Humber. To receive this honour, student-athletes have to be a member in good standing of a varsity athletic team and attain an 80 percent average in the semester they are competing in. 

All 14 programs had at least four student-athletes selected, with the women's soccer team leading the way with 11 All-Academic recipients, while rugby, women's basketball and women's volleyball finished close behind with ten. 

Humber's 93 selections were the most in the province, finishing with nine more All-Academic honours than second-place Seneca. The Hawks reached 90 selections for the fourth consecutive season.
