Peter Sherberstov named Humber Male Rookie of the Year
ETOBICOKE - Earning a spot on the Humber squad as a freshman is no easy feat, yet Sheberstov did that and more. The Richmond Hill native only allowed two tallies against during the regular season, making 13 saves and helping the Hawks earn the top defensive team award in the tough OCAA West Division.
On the biggest stage, Sheberstov did not surrender a goal, joining Humber legends Mike Silva (2001), Eugenio Garro (2015), and Karman Singh (2016) as the only keepers to record three clean sheets at the CCAA tournament.
