Fabian Rayne named Humber Coach of the Year

ETOBICOKE - Coach Rayne led Humber rugby to its first provincial since 2014. Humber finished the season with a 7-0 record, outscoring its opponents 289-73 this season. Despite consistently improving his team's performance year after year, Coach Rayne remains one of the most overlooked figures in OCAA rugby – never earning OCAA Coach of the Year honours.

After starting the program from scratch in 2019, Rayne steadily transformed the team's tactics, fitness, and mentality, guiding them to playoff contenders immediately. In five seasons since the program's return, the Hawks have captured a medal three times, including a provincial title this season. His dedication and tactical acumen may go unnoticed by league officials, but those who follow the game closely know his impact speaks louder than awards or accolades.
