The Storyline
Top-ranked Humber women's basketball will face No. 3 Montmorency in the CCAA semifinal game Mar. 16. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. EST (6 p.m. ADT) and the live stream can be found here.

Last Time Out
Humber used a last-second shot from Ceejay Nofiuente to beat MSVU, 71-69, in the CCAA quarterfinal. The Hawks were able to overcome an eight-point deficit, as Nofuente and Aleena Domingo each recorded a double-double.

Scouting No. 3 Montmorency

  • The Nomades finished the RSEQ regular-season with a 12-2 record, before falling to No. 2 Dawson 70-63 in the title game.
  • Montmorency advanced to the semifinal with a 76-58 win over St. Mary's in the quarter-final round. Juliette Gauthier led the Nomades, scoring a game-high 25 points along with 12 rebounds.
  • The Nomades have won nine national titles, including four since 2011.

Last Meeting
Humber defeated Montmorency, 77-64, in the CCAA bronze semifinal Mar. 18, 2017. The Hawks jumped out to a 14-point lead at half and never looked back.

Nofuente finished with a team-high 17 points, while Miea Campbell-Johnson added ten points of her own. Juliette Gauthier finished with a game-high 25 points for the Nomades in the loss.
