HAWKS LOOK TO BUILD ON BIG MID-WEEK WIN

WINDSOR, ON: The Humber Hawks men's volleyball team, fresh off their biggest win of the season on Thursday night at home against the OCAA defending champions from Niagara, will travel to Windsor for a Sunday afternoon match with the St. Clair Saints.

With the thrilling five-set win on Thursday, the Hawks not only bounced back from a straight set loss in Hamilton against Mohawk, they improved their record to 4-2 on the season. St. Clair, 2015 OCAA silver medalists, have been unable to find the momentum they established at the end of last year, and sit with a mark of 2-4.

Both squads have had significant roster changes this year, and see different players moving to the lead on all team offensive statistics. Superstar freshman sensation Nathan Murdock of the Hawks sits third overall in OCAA league scoring with an average of 4.2 points per set. St. Clair's Mike Knight sits a number of spots back at fifteenth overall, but still has an impressive mark of 3.4 pps.

This is a key match-up, one that could vault St. Clair back into the play-off mix early in the season. A win for the Hawks would put them into the upper echelon of West Division teams.

The game is set for 3:00 pm start, from the St. Clair Athletic Centre.
