Malik Grant named Humber Male Athlete of the Year

ETOBICOKE - It was a historic season for Malik Grant, who helped lead the Hawks to the program's eighth CCAA national title. The fourth-year forward led the squad in scoring throughout the season and at the big dance, earning championship MVP honours.

Grant was named the third OCAA Player of the Year in program history while becoming the 16th player to garner CCAA All-Canadian honours.

In a win over Conestoga on January 22, Grant scored 42 points, becoming just the second player since 2011 to score 40-plus points for the Hawks.

Grant became the 16th player in team history to earn Humber athlete of the year honours.
