WOMEN’S CURLING COME HOME WITH NATIONAL SILVER MEDAL

UPDATE: A 5-2 round robin record assured the Women's Curling Team a spot in the Gold Medal Game, where they fell in a tight match-up 4-2 to the Fanshawe Falcons. The Hawks come home with a National Silver Medal for the second consecutive year.

HAWKS CURLING HEADED TO OLD'S COLLEGE FOR NATIONALS

The Humber Hawks Curling Team is headed to Old's College this week for Nationals where they will be looking to build on an impressive performance at the OCAA Championship.

Both the Mixed and Women's Team came away with Silver Medals, going a combined 10-4 over the weekend. The Hawks have had an impressive season to this point; their results are as follows:

Humber Bonspiel
Women's Team – 5-0 (Bonspiel Champions)
Men's Team – 2-3

Welland Invitational
Women's Team – 65 points – 1st place
Mixed Team – 82 points – 1st place
Men's Team – 72 points – 2nd place

OCAA Championship
Women's Team – 6-2 – OCAA Silver Medalist
Mixed Team – 4-2 – OCAA Silver Medalist
Men's Team – 5-3 – 4th in Ontario

Humber is looking to build on their first National Medal last season, when the Women's Team came home with a CCAA Silver.
