      <title>THREE HAWKS TEAMS TAKE TO THE CCAA NATIONAL STAGE TODAY</title>
      <link>https://humberhawks.ca/sports/badminton/2017-18/releases/20180303c4n4pi</link>
      <description>EDMONTON, AL: The Humber Hawks badminton team, who won three gold last year, are in the position to do the same this time around, as they placed all three teams in the gold medal round.  &#xD;
WOMEN'S DOUBLES: Chloe Rowe &amp; Liz Duong&#xD;
The Hawks duo traveled through the round robin with a perfect 5-0 record, and then staged a thrilling first-set comeback to ultimately sweep the semi-final 2-0 and advance to the gold medal match.&#xD;
MEN'S DOUBLES: Cameron Lai &amp; Darcy Schmidt&#xD;
This pair, who went 4-1 through the round robin, have seemingly saved their best for last as they played their best match of the tournament in the semi-final. They swept in fine fashion and now will look to avenge their only loss of the national event, in the gold medal final.&#xD;
MIXED DOUBLES: Crystal Qu &amp; Arpit Teneja&#xD;
Qu and Teneja have been the class of the tournament in what is a very competitive discipline. They have went undefeated and not lost a set throughout, which is something they have done all season. A trip to the gold medal round once again came via a 2-0 sweep over the fourth seeded team in the event.&#xD;

      <title>HAWKS CONTINUE PRE-SEASON WITH TOURNAMENT AT UTM</title>
      <link>https://humberhawks.ca/sports/badminton/2017-18/releases/20171031k4l0ep</link>
      <description>ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks badminton team will take to the courts at the University of Toronto &#x2013; Mississauga campus on Saturday in the second college-based event of the year. &#xD;
In a unique approach to traditional badminton tournaments, there may be crossover competition between the men&#x2019;s and women&#x2019;s doubles teams. A women&#x2019;s team may play a men&#x2019;s, but start the match with sizable point lead. &#xD;
Triple Crown winner at the Humber Cup, Chloe Rowe, will be back on the court to represent the Hawks.&#xD;
Play is to commence in the morning, and the end time is dependent on the number of participants.</description>
