HAWKS FACE UNFAMILIAR FOE ON WEDNESDAY IN KITCHENER

ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks men's soccer team, winners of their first game on Sunday afternoon against UTM, will look to continue their winning ways as they travel to Kitchener to face the Conestoga Condors.

LAST SEASON VS CONESTOGA

  • With the divisional alignments changing this year, this will be the first time in a number of years that the two teams will face each other in regular season play.

SCOUTING CONESTOGA

  • The Condors played well against one of the league's top teams in the George Brown Huskies, but dropped a tight 2-0 decision on their home field
  • They are coming off one off their weakest seasons in their history, finishing last in the West Division with a 0-9-1 record. They scored only twice, while giving up a division high 32  goals

HAWK NOTES

  • The Hawks sped out of the gates with a tight 3-1 road win over UTM on Sunday afternoon
  • Humber had three different scorers in the game
  • The game was a chippy affair, with five cards handed out, two of which that went to the Hawks
