Conestoga 4, Humber 3
Humber's defence struggled to begin game one as four errors led to four unearned runs for Conestoga in the first two innings. Myranda Pierson was stuck with the loss, throwing four innings, allowing four runs on three hits.
A single from Jenna Hillman in the home half of the seventh inning gave Humber a chance to tie the game; however, the Hawks were unable to drive her home.
Hillman and Elisa Gregoris paced the way for Humber at the dish, collecting two hits each.
Humber 7, Conestoga 5
Trailing by three in the second inning, Humber turned to the long ball to get back into the game. Aaliyah Davidson connected for her second home run of the year with a solo shot to centre field, followed by Sarah Franchetto's first career home run in the third inning to tie the game at three. Shortly after, Davidson nearly missed her second home run of the game, hitting the fence for a RBI triple to give the Hawks the lead for good.
Bree Donaldson picked up her third win of the season, leaving the mound to a standing ovation for what may have been her last career start for Humber.
