MEN’S CURLERS REBOUND TO SOAR TO OCAA BRONZE MEDAL

HAMILTON, ON: The Humber Hawks men's curling team took the route to the OCAA bronze medal game by way of their semi-final loss the night before, but made the best of it by cruising to a 5-1 win over Confederation College.

Humber jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the first end, then finished up business with a steal of one in the seventh. Although Confederation were in striking distance, the match never seemed in doubt.

The group of Ben Hughes, Matthew Garner, Brady Lumley and skip Sean Armstrong were awarded their silver medals in the post-tournament awards ceremony.
